Dr. Tanner Roberts is originally from Louisiana. She received her undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University in Animal Science. She then attended Louisiana State University where she received her veterinary degree. Following graduation, Dr. Roberts completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Louisiana State University. After completion of her rotating internship, Dr. Roberts worked as a general practice veterinarian for one year in Arkansas. During this time, her love for surgery grew and she decided to pursue specialty training in small animal surgery. Dr. Roberts moved to Arizona to join the SVSS team in 2021 as a surgical intern and in July of 2022 was accepted into their surgical residency program. When not at work, Dr. Roberts enjoys spending time with her pets and being outdoors. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, and the Society of Veterinary Soft Tissue Surgery.
