Megan Schaible, DVMDiplomate, ACVS
Dr. Schaible attended the University of Arizona where she obtained her BS in Veterinary Science before attending Michigan State University and receiving her DVM in 2007. She was first employed as a general practitioner in northern Arizona before she completed a rotating internship at Sonora Veterinary Specialists in 2011, followed by a small animal surgical internship at VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Fishers Indiana in 2012. Dr. Schaible completed her small animal surgical residency at Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in the Philadelphia area July 2016. She came back to the valley and joined the SVSS team in late 2016. Dr. Schaible’s special areas of interest include soft tissue surgery, laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures, wound management, reconstructive surgery, and tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) procedures. She is a member of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
